The Maximum Security Tray Loc (MTL) provides the highest level of security
and versatility. This device is designed to form fit the computer in order to entrap
it inside a metal shell protecting the computer against theft of internal
components as well as the monitor.
An MTL is:
A Tray Lock, which is fabricated from two 16 gauge Cold Rolled Steel (CRS)
plates that interlock, slide together and is locked with a high security, five wafer,
pick resistant screw lock. A 16 gauge CRS shell with reinforced welded flanges to
prevent the computer from being removed from the rear is bolted to the Tray
Lock. In the event the computer is replaced with a unit that has a larger or
smaller case, you can simply adjust the size of the shell with our adjustable MTL.
If a fixed MTL is in use, only the shell itself would need to be replaced, not the
entire device. Attached to the top plate is an 11 gauge CRS 'L' bar that traps the
computer at the front.
An MTL can be locked down to the work surface either by bolting with a 1/2"
diameter carriage bolt or can be adhered to the work surface with high bonding
1/8" thick adhesive tape that covers at least 80% of the bottom of the device.
The adhesive can also be applied to a separate plate and then attached to the
MTL allowing it to be reused as a bolting unit in another location without the
purchase of additional parts.
Monitors may be bolted directly to the top of the MTL and/or can be secured with
an optional 3/16" steel security cable kit made from aircraft cable.
An MTL can be secured to the top, side or underneath area of a desk or table. It
can also be mounted to any solid, flat surface your application requires.
Available for any size desktop or tower computer. We can also custom make an
MTL to secure unique applications.
